Details on Adult Classes offered through CNSCS

1. The adult class fee structure is divided into two parts: one is the participation fee paid to the school as shown on the table below; the other is the instruction fee if an instructor is present.

2. Unless marked with * in front of the class title below, the instruction fee is decided by the instructor and should be paid to the instructor directly.

3. CNSCS reserves the rights to limit the number of participants based on capacity and security concern and may increase the fee at school board’s discretion. Parent member should have privilege over non-parent member to enroll in the program if capacity is limited.

Fall 2010 School Begin September 12

 The easiest way is to Register Online!  Click here to see instructions for online registration (網上註冊圖解)

1. Please go to www.cnscs.org
2. On the left column, click on CNSCS Online to access the CNSCS Member-only website
3. If you need Login & Password (new or reset), please email cnscs2009@gmail.com
4. Print out FINAL page with a GREEN line that says “You have completed your online registration. Please bring your check with copy of this page to school.”
5.  Remember: Your registration is only complete AFTER you turn in the payment!

Step 1: Go to CNSCS.org

Step 2: Log in CNSCS Member-only site

Step 3: Select "Registration" to see your information

Step 4: Update 4th period class if necessary

Step 5: Accept the Release Form and Parent Service Point Program

Step 6: Print out the confirmation page and bring it to CNSCS with the payment to complete registration

Fall 2010 Registration is here: Information on Extra-curricular classes

The table below lists the Extracurricular (4th-period) classes available for Fall 2010.

Please select am Extracurricular class for each student – Mandatory for 1^st Grade and up – Optional for preK and K students. In cases where the number of students exceeds capacity, a raffle may be used to determine final class roster.  Classes may be canceled if minimum is not met. And the deadline for switching classes is the 2nd of week of Fall 2010.

Please note that there are TWO new classes for your consideration:

Painting 繪畫 and Math Short-cut & Mental Math 速算 & 心算.

Painting 繪畫 will be an art class geared towards older children.

Math Short-cut & Mental Math 速算 & 心算 will introduce the followings:

-  Effective techniques on how to calculate numbers.

-  Math shortcuts to make doing mental math easier.

-  Lightning calculation and amazing math tricks to add, subtract, and multiply.

-  “Paper” abacus as a supplementary tool.
